My Integration Vendor is not available on the Integration Vendor dropdown selector

Question

When I create a new API user, I have to assign an API Tracking Identifier. However, my integration vendor is not on the Integration Vendor dropdown selector. Why is that?

Answer

To be listed on the selector, vendors must meet a number of requirements. Refer to Integration Center.

The dropdown selector only lists vendors who confirmed the presence of their preassigned tracking identifier in all API calls with our Product Management Integrations team. If the integration is a commercial one (not developed for personal use by the user's organization), you will need to contact the vendor to understand the vendor's timeline and road map for when they will have the identifier present in all API calls to Autotask.

IMPORTANT  Do not select the Custom (Internal Integration) option unless you are using an integration you developed yourself, as doing so could cause all calls to fail, since the value supplied in the calls may not match the resource configuration.

You will not be able to change the tracking identifier once configured.
