System UDFs for remote monitoring extensions

When a remote monitoring extension is enabled, Autotask automatically generates system User-Defined Fields that are used to map Autotask organizations, devices Your Autotask instance may be configured to use one of the following terms instead: Asset, Configuration Item, Installed Asset, Installed Product. or tickets to their equivalents in the remote monitoring application. UDF names include the name of the extension, such as, Kaseya Ticket ID.

NOTE  If the remote monitoring extension is disabled, that extension's User-Defined Fields are automatically inactivated. They will be reactivated if the extension is enabled again.

This mapping happens when the Discovery Wizard is launched. Refer to Importing discovered devices into Autotask.

NOTE  A Customer ID column is available for selection from the Organization Your Autotask instance may be configured to use one of the following terms instead: Account, Business Unit, Client Company, Customer, Site. search table column chooser. A Device ID column is available for selection from the Device search table column chooser.
